What's new

Each site version is one production deploy, written as the deploy date (year, month, and day) plus the short hash of the commit it published, for example 26.08.22+50e78d3. When a deploy carried changes that were not yet in any commit, the version ends in .dirty. The app follows App Store numbering. Changes made only on the server have no version and are shown with the commit date. Deploy records from before May 31, 2026, were not kept, so anything shipped before then appears without a version.

   • Game modes screen, with a preview of each mode: the daily case archive, Continents, Multimedia, and Global Shift, shown as Coming soon.
   • Adrenaline mode: a case against the clock, with the dose chosen before you start. The higher the dose, the less time and the bigger the reward.
   • University ranking: pick yours in your profile and your school joins the standings, from a minimum number of students scoring in the period.
   • ICD map inside the game: the branches your answers ruled out are dimmed and the branch where the answer is lights up, as the clues unlock.
   • Creator badge beside the name on your own and public profiles, with access to the creator's registered link.
   • Invitation to link a creator registration to a NEXO account, with an account review before confirmation.
   • Anki button on the case and demo results: copies a ready-made search that, pasted into Anki, lists the existing cards on that diagnosis, in all 6 languages.
   • On the case result, the Anki button now also copies the diagnosis title with the pathophysiology and treatment from the explanation, ready to paste into a card. Available once the case explanation is unlocked.
   • On multimedia cases with an image, the Anki button also copies the diagnosis and the case image separately, one for each side of a card. Available on Pro and Max plans.
   • The What's new and Our story pages, each at its own URL in all 6 languages, with hreflang, sitemap entries, and structured data.
   • The Brazilian newborn screening page, now open to search engines: 21 diseases, with authorship, source, and license stated for each figure.

   Improved

   • Achievements are now tracks: each track's steps in order, what is already completed, and which one comes next.
   • A single field for the referral code and the promo code: the system recognizes which of the two was typed.
   • The Social tab is gone. Friends moved to the profile and groups became a tab inside Ranking.

   Fixed

   • Specialty count: 25, read from the database at runtime. The previous value was hardcoded and stale in 55 places across the site.
   • Eight internal links pointing to a page that does not exist, on the economy and partnerships pages in Spanish, French, German, and Russian.
   • Rounding of the annual plan discount in US dollars, which showed a higher figure than the real one.
   • Description of the diagnosis search. It runs on the server and needs a connection; the previous text claimed it worked offline.
   • Referral program rules on the support pages in Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, and Russian, which still described the previous version of the program.
   • Privacy policy header: the text was last revised in June 2026, version 1.4, and the page still showed May 2026, version 1.3.
   • Proofreading in all 6 languages: missing accents and misspellings fixed, more consistent terminology, and corrected sentences in the terms of use, the privacy policy, and the support pages.
   • Password reset: the minimum is 6 characters, the same as at sign-up, and the screen still asked for 8.
   • Account deletion: the privacy policy and the support pages now give the path used in the app, Profile → Delete account.
   • Media credits in Spanish, French, German, and Russian: dataset names, licenses, and citations are back in their original form. In all 6 languages, the title of one of the cited articles now appears in full.
   • Proximity levels: the home page, the support pages, and the methodology pages now use the same names as the game (exact ICD, same category, same group, same chapter, and different chapter).
