In neuroscience, a synapse is the junction between two neurons: the exact point where learning happens. Every time you practice clinical reasoning, your brain reinforces real synaptic connections. NEXO uses this same concept as the app's internal currency, reflecting the connection between practice and progress.
You earn sinapses by getting diagnoses right, staying consistent day after day and expanding your network of colleagues who study alongside you. The more you practice differential diagnosis, the more sinapses you accumulate. Pro and Max subscribers receive monthly credits as recognition of their regular commitment. And if you need a quick boost, packs are available in the store.
How to earn sinapses
Daily case (main mode)
Each hint you skip by getting the right diagnosis is worth sinapses. Getting it right on the first hint is the maximum. Each additional hint you need reduces the reward, but the case always pays out.

In the 30-day daily reward cycle, day 30 pays 500 base sinapses. Free gets 500. Pro gets 1,000. Max gets 2,000. Repeated every month you keep the streak.

Free plays 1 case per day, takes 500 days to cover the base archive. Pro unlocks 30 extra training sessions per month. Max unlocks unlimited training. Cases across 20 specialties, validated by doctors.
Ranking scales together
Ranking points come from XP, which follows the same multiplier (1x, 2x, 4x). Pro players earn double the XP per correct answer than Free. Max players, quadruple. Global ranking position rises in the same proportion.
