Thiago Longo Moraes

Thiago is a medical student at ULBRA Canoas and chairs the General Surgery Academic League. Before NEXO, he wrote the trilogy Inteligência Artificial na Saúde, published on Amazon, and founded Medfinder, an AI platform for medical imaging analysis. NEXO came from what the clinic actually demands in practice and no app was testing. Miss close, learn from the exact distance of the error.

Alexei Peter dos Santos

Alexei is the doctor on the NEXO team. He graduated in medicine from UFPel in 1998, has practiced as a clinical oncologist for 22 years in Porto Alegre, and holds CREMERS 24197. In 2024, he completed the Master of Educational Technology at UBC, in Vancouver. He returned to academia after two decades of practice to study how medical education is built. He served as vice president for Medical Care and Professional Defense on the 2013 board of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology. Today he participates in INTES, AIRAS, and represents Brazil at AGH.

Rafael Guimarães Malanga

Rafael is the data scientist on the NEXO team. In 2023, he completed the master's in IT and Health Management at UFCSPA, with research on deep learning applied to radiographic images. The papers appeared in Journal of Health Informatics and in Brazilian Journal of Radiation Sciences. At NEXO, he builds the technical architecture, the data flows, and the experimentation layer between the medical back-office and the application.
