Partnerships
NEXO is a platform for diagnostic reasoning practice. Four partnership models support its growth: Education for curricular integration, Enterprise for corporate health systems, Creator for independent review in digital channels, Curator for clinical curation and international localization. Each model has a dedicated point of contact and its own operating rules.
NEXO Education
Over 600 playable clinical cases across 20 specialties and 6 languages, with a cohort dashboard that replaces manual collection of practice evidence. The instructor opens the dashboard on Monday and sees in real time where the class gets stuck, which differential diagnosis needs reinforcement, and which students are off the expected pace.
The institutional layer includes single sign-on by verified domain, a dashboard for coordinators and preceptors with accuracy, hints used, session completion and individual gaps, and configurable case sets per specialty aligned with the syllabus. Supervised groups support up to 100 participants, with distinct roles for instructor, preceptor and student. Assisted onboarding with a dedicated academic success contact and training for faculty and administration.
Data governance follows LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law, equivalent in scope to GDPR): a Data Protection Officer designated by Aphelios Group, isolation of academic data, full per-student export, and definitive deletion within 90 days of an offboarding request. Processing of sensitive data of minors when applicable, with documented legal basis and consent flow.
Annual licensing per student, with progressive volume discount. Invoicing by CNPJ (Brazilian corporate tax ID) with NF-e (Brazilian electronic invoice), purchase order, budget commitment, and adequacy to public procurement processes.

NEXO Enterprise
Real continuing medical education, not an hours checkbox. Over 600 playable clinical cases across 20 specialties and 6 languages, with a dashboard that breaks down engagement, accuracy and coverage by department, service or unit, and indicators that feed into CME reports and performance reviews.
Corporate single sign-on (SAML/OIDC), automatic provisioning via HR, and synchronized offboarding. Case sets aligned to the team's clinical profile: emergency department, oncology, surgery, primary care, internal residency programs. API integration with LMS, HR and clinical management systems, with full audit logs for internal compliance.
Contractual SLA with response time defined by severity, dedicated account manager, wave-based assisted onboarding, and technical support during extended business hours. Structure for multi-CNPJ operations or networks with decentralized governance.
Annual contract per license with volume discount. Invoicing by CNPJ with NF-e, support for the corporate procurement process and adequacy to vendor approval.

NEXO Creator
Pre-launch, critical feedback from medical creators is what tunes the product before it meets its first thousand paying users. Creator is a relationship of trust, not an advertising deal. NEXO invests in the real test, the creator decides what to say about the product, and both sides grow if there is genuine fit. There is no message briefing, no suggested angle, no prior content review. Honest review is what earns audience trust.
How it works, in three stages
Stage 0. Extended trial with no expectation. Pro access for 14 days to test the app in real study. NEXO follows usage with three short questions during the period: what you would change in the app, whether it makes sense for your audience, what is missing for you to consider recommending it. Zero publication commitment. The trial expires without automatic billing.
Stage 1. The creator decides. After the trial, free choice: record a video (positive, critical or mixed), continue as a free user, become a paying user, or leave. NEXO does not ask for previews, does not suggest an angle, does not try to change tone. Honest criticism is welcome and produces product adjustments before launch.
Stage 2. Recognition if you choose to publish. When the creator chooses to record, we activate the Founding Creator package:
- Co-authorship of 1 curated clinical case, with credit on the case and on the public /en/collection page
- Founding Creator badge on the NEXO profile and in the /en/collection footer
- 50 trackable 7-day Pro trial coupons to distribute to your audience
- Optional ready-to-use kit: B-roll, high-resolution screenshots, open script, and disclosure copy that complies with CFM (Brazil's Federal Council of Medicine) rules
- Mandatory disclosure in the video: "I received NEXO Pro access as a courtesy for testing". This is the only mandatory commitment.
Compliance
The model complies with Resolução CFM 2.336/2023 (the Brazilian Federal Council of Medicine resolution on physician advertising) and Art. 71 of the Código de Ética Médica (Brazilian Medical Code of Ethics, which prohibits offering professional services as a prize). It is not a paid advertising partnership: it is seeding with opt-in organic endorsement, with no financial consideration for publication. The courtesy disclosure is non-negotiable. Each participant operates within the rules of their own regional council and jurisdiction.

NEXO Curator
Curator is NEXO's clinical layer of review and international localization. A radiologist verifies report translations in the native language and suggests findings typical of the population served; a clinical oncologist reviews cases in the specialty for clinical accuracy and demographic adequacy. The work is collaborative and horizontal among clinical peers, organized by the medical co-founding (Dr. Alexei Peter dos Santos, NEXO medical co-founder, clinical oncologist with 22 years of practice). Each curator works in their domain area, with authority over the clinical and pedagogical decisions of the case set under their review.
The curator's credit remains visible on the case for the lifetime of the app: every medical student or physician in training who plays that case sees the name of the reviewer responsible for the clinical quality of the material.
Scope of work
- Clinical and pedagogical review of cases in the specialty, focused on diagnostic accuracy, differential reasoning, and quality of the hint flow
- Suggestion and curation of new cases relevant to local demographics: regional prevalence, population profile, clinical presentation patterns typical of the country
- Adjustment of existing cases to reflect local epidemiology, exams available in the country's health system, units of measurement, and regional practice standards
- Verification of clinical translations in the native language: technical vocabulary, local eponyms, recognized abbreviations, report conventions
Recognition model
The model respects the regulatory differences between Brazil and international markets. There are two tracks, defined by the jurisdiction of the partner's professional registration.
Brazil track (active CRM).Art. 71 of the Código de Ética Médica prohibits offering professional services as a prize, which makes a fee in exchange for curation a gray area. CRM is the regional medical license issued by Brazil's Federal Council of Medicine, mandatory for medical practice in Brazil. Recognition takes the form of:
- NEXO Medical Advisor credit visible in the app and on /en/collection
- Founding Curator badge on the public profile
- Co-authorship on academic papers that NEXO publishes, with formal curricular link (Lattes, the Brazilian academic CV registry)
- Pro plan for 1 year as a courtesy, decoupled from any specific curation work
International track (physicians outside CFM jurisdiction). Includes compensation per curated case, under a scope defined in a formal proposal per curator. The proposal specifies volume, cadence, review deadlines, the required quality standard, and the value per case. Payment via channel appropriate to the partner's jurisdiction, with compatible tax documentation. Symbolic recognition (Medical Advisor credit, Founding Curator Badge) accompanies the payment and remains visible while the curated cases are active in the app.
